Job Role: CNC Turner
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30-16:30, Friday 07:30.12:30 + Optional Overtime = time 1/3
Location: Weymouth, Dorset

**Salary**: £30,000 - £40,000 DoE

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join a progressive and growing company that specialises in the aerospace, defence and commercial industries.
The Role
- Set and operate CNC lathes, some of which have live tooling
- Check and inspect own work using inspection equipment (Verniers, micrometres, SPGs and PPGs)
- In process inspection to ensure total process control is maintained
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards
- Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained and updated to reflect current process on job cards
- Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times
The Requirements
- Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (indentures accepted)
- Aerospace industry experience desired
- Knowledge of Fanuc control systems
- Experience working with engineering drawings and work to instructions i.e. job cards
- Ability to set and operate different machine tools
- PC literate
