Act as the Exam Secretary to the British Beekeepers’ Association (BBKA) Exam Board
- Manage, with the Exam Board Moderators, the exam administration process
- Facilitate all BBKA training courses
- Support the Education & Husbandry Committee (E&H) with their annual plan of work
- Manage the correspondence course administration

Person Specification:
Essential
- Highly organised administrator with good attention to detail
- Resilient and decisive to plan workload demands from different sources whilst working accurately to tight deadlines
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Good skill levels with Microsoft software
- excel, word and powerpoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of database administration
- Available to work at 12 weekend days each year (time off in lieu will be given)

January - Saturday, Annual Delegates’ Meeting,

March/April - Saturday, Spring Convention in Shropshire

May - Saturday & Sunday (assessor training)

June/July, Advanced Husbandry Assessments (two full weekends)

Exam Board Meetings - Sundays: January, March, September and November
- Willing and able to work as part of a small team and support other staff members in busy periods as required

Desirable
- Experience of working in a Higher Educational or training environment would be advantageous
- A strong background in Executive Assistant type roles
- Experience of managing a team or volunteers
- Experience of the Moodle platform

What We Offer
- This is a permanent position with annual salary £32,000- £35,000
- 25 days holiday pa
- Time off in lieu is given for weekend working
- Office is situated on a private business park in the countryside with plenty of parking
- Office hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
