**The Role**:
Company: Allied Mills
Location: Tilbury
**Salary**: £27,500 per annum (inclusive of shift premium)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a 3 week rotating rota (Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm and 12pm-8pm.) Also including 4 contracted Saturday shifts per year.
Holiday Entitlement: 25.5 days annual leave exclusive of the 8 customary bank holidays
operations at Site; ensuring that all goods are weighed onto and off site and that all practices comply with company policies and procedures.
**Duties**:
- Maintain and improve Weighbridge operations at site.
- Ensure all goods are weighed onto and off site.
- Co-ordinate site traffic movements.
- Be the first point of contact for visitors to site and to take incoming calls.
- Ensure drivers are given a copy of the site rules and Induction on their first visit to site.
- Complete daily weighbridge checks - including the reporting of manual and sundry weights.
- Ensure new procedures and customer requirements are updated in the weighbridge file and cascaded to all weighbridge operators.
- Training future weighbridge operators.
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to ensure weighbridge maintenance and calibrations are up to date.
- Ensure that all weighbridge operations comply with environmental, health and safety, legal and company standards.

- A great customer focus with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, be punctual and reliable.
- Health and Safety awareness (desirable)
- Food Safety awareness (desirable)
- Good level of Computer literacy
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
