**Role**:Customer Sales Advisor**

**Purpose of the Role**:
To provide excellent customer service when responding to orders, pricing, stock and all other enquiries on a daily basis. Having a good understanding of XL Joinery products to make recommendations, handle complaints and recognise opportunities to optimise sales. Processing of sales orders and associated functions. The role is essential in supporting not only the internal sales function but also the wider Sales Team and therefore requires the individual to be flexible and adaptive to the needs of the team, company and customer.

**Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)**

**Customer Focus**
- Operating on a “get it right first time” principal when dealing with customer enquiries.
- Handling all customer queries in an effective and efficient manner.
- Developing strong commercial relationships with both new and existing customers in order to increase sales opportunities and profitability.
- To develop and maintain, through continuous improvement, a high level of professional customer service.

**Commercial Focus**
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Area Sales Managers.
- Supporting external sales activity through active account management of key customers.
- To be aware of company, team and individual performance.
- To seek out, be involved in and optimise opportunities to develop company and own performance.

**Areas of Responsibility**
- **Orders -**Processing of sales orders and associated functions. To have 100% accuracy data input, to ensure orders are correct. Ensuring orders are processed on time to ensure smooth process flow.
- **Pricing -**Handling calls with efficiency and professionalism when dealing with pricing enquiries. Giving correct information on costs and stock availability. Following up on queries and deliveries.

**Personal and Communication**
- To understand what is expected of you in terms of your role, performance, contributions and behaviour.
- Develop your skills be actively seeking out and taking on board feedback from your peers and Manager.
- Understand the importance of team work, including both offering and seeking help where needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Carry out all duties as directed by your Manager or the company.

**Salary**: £23,300.00 per year
