**The Role**:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant specializing in Behavioural Needs Support, you will play a pivotal role in our KS2 classrooms, providing tailored assistance to students who require additional guidance in managing their behaviour. Your creativity, empathy, and resourcefulness will be essential in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and understood.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement strategies to support students with behavioural needs
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to engage with learning activities and develop positive behaviours
- Foster positive relationships with students, offering encouragement, praise, and guidance as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to assess students' progress and adjust support strategies accordingly
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of teaching materials to meet the individual needs of students
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience in challenging situations

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting
