**The business**

Searles Leisure Resort is a part of the Searles Leisure Group. Searles is a family run company and has grown over the years into a highly successful business. The Resort consists of over 360 Owners, 150 hire fleet and over 200 tourer and tent pitches and is based south of Hunstanton. There are many facilities at Searles, including a large Clubhouse and Restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and an 18- and 9-hole golf course. Searles is graded 5 stars by Visit England and is the Norfolk and Suffolk Camping/Glamping and Holiday Park winner for 2020.

Heacham Manor Hotel is also part of the Searles Leisure Group. Heacham Manor Hotel welcomes Golfers, Hotel Guests looking for a tranquil country getaway, weddings, events and much more making it one of the leading 3-star Hotels in the area.

**Rate of Pay**:£10.82 per hour

**Contract & Hours of Work**

Permanent contract, Part-time, 24 hrs per week (yearly average), including weekends and bank holiday working.

Please note, we are a 7-day a week operation in the peak periods. Some shifts will include, split shifts, weekends, and some public / bank holidays on a rota basis.

**Job responsibilities**

timely and courteous manner, assisting customers with bookings and hiring equipment.
- Open and Close the Golf Shop to the standard detailed in the procedure.
- Ensure all cash handling procedures are carried out as per procedure and all cash

handling record sheets are completed and filed correctly.
- Be the first point of contact for customers wishing to use the golf course, driving range,

bowls, fishing, pétanque and tennis facilities.
- Assist with organising Golf Buggies, completing H&S checks as trained to do so.
- Administrative duties including checking and preparing for events or competitions.
- Sell Green fee’s, Golf Buggy Hire, Driving range tokens and Golf Shop products.
- Ensure that customers are welcomed to the Club and treated in the manner expected.
- Take golf bookings in person or on the telephone and enter them onto the BRS golf

booking system accurately.
- Check golfers in and collect the applicable green fees following the correct procedures.
- Sell merchandise and promote membership with a view to maximising sales.
- Complete administration tasks as required.
- Assist with keeping the Golf Shop tidy and presentable at all times.
- Assist the Golf Managers with administration of membership.
- Assist with the administration of members competitions.
- As a key holder you will be responsible for opening and locking the Pro Shop. Ensuring

opening shifts are carried out correctly and the facility is cleaned and left secure at the

end of the day.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to. Report any breach of

Health & Safety witnessed by you to a manager and/or Health & Safety Representative.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working in a similar environment (Desirable)
- Experience or knowledge of Golf
- Previous retail experience (Desirable)
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Full valid Driving Qualification for UK required due to dual based location
- Flexible Schedule, for Working hours
