**Category Assistant (2 roles available) - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

**Hybrid - based at our Bradford office with some home working.**

**Salary up to £26,837 depending on experience**

**37.5 per week**

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will ideally be qualified to degree level and have membership (or be working towards) CIPS.

You will also have:

- Knowledge of Procurement processes and procedures.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills as you will be delivering sensitive and technical information to internal and external audiences.
- Experience of meeting KPI targets and service standards in a commercial environment.
- Broad procurement experience across a variety of categories, both goods and services.
- Procurement research, developing innovative solutions and contributing to the strategic planning process.
- Planning, organising, decision-making, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Buying or Purchasing experience would also be preferred.
