Senior Financial Analyst

My client a FTSE listed market leading organisation based in High Wycombe is seeking an ambitious Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. As the**Senior Financial Analyst you will p**roduce robust, reliableand accurate financial and business information for business leaders, you will also be required to provide robust analysis and reporting to the business as well as monitor performance and challenge results.
This role is highly commercial in nature and offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders across the business. There is hybrid working options and you will get the opportunity to work in a complex multi-site environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead, manage, and develop Finance Analyst
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analyses and budgets for each of the assigned business areas
- Meet reporting deadlines and provide useful feedback/explanations of financial performance
- Compile and distribute functional area monthly financial reporting packs to provide financial and non-financial staff with useful financial data and KPIs as a foundation for sound decision making and analysis
- Present monthly results to business leaders and other senior personnel to enable understanding of performance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and five year plans for the functional areas of responsibility to aid and assist accurate planning
- Assist with the consolidation of budgets, forecasts and five year plans for the division to enable the business to meet planning deadlines with accurate and fully explained data
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure controls are in place and being adhered to
- Deal with interim and end of year audit queries to support the sign-off of year-end accounts
- Participate in continual process improvement through the leading and implementation of identified key projects and processes.
**Requirements**:
- Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification
- Over 3 years experience of budgeting and forecasting
- Advanced Excel with excellent analytical skills
- Power BI and project management experience would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Management accounting experience gained in the service, logistics or waste industries an advantage
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Resilient with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- Self motivated and proactive with a 'can do' attitude
