Shrewsbury Prison are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team as a Night Supervisor. This is a great opportunity for a confident, capable person to join an established, friendly team in a unique setting.

The role of Night Supervisor involves working Friday and/or Saturday nights, typically 8-9 hour shifts, whilst an external Paranormal Group is running an event within the prison. The role also includes working during our 12-hour Night Behind Bars events, and occasional Thursday and Sunday evenings.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed throughout the evening
- To act in emergency as necessary
- Being responsible for the security of the site during Paranormal shifts and Night Behind Bars
- Unlocking and locking the site as necessary, and performing regular checks of the site during the course of the event
- Working with the organisers/hosts of the event, to ensure they are familiar with the site, and aware of relevant health and safety
- Serving in the café/gift shop during the event
- Offering excellent customer service
- Completing various tasks as set by the line manger throughout the night

**Role Summary**
This role is a 12 hour contract, with many opportunities for over time, and involves being on duty overnight.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
