Purpose

The purpose of the It assistant job role is to provide technical support and assistance to users within Forbidden Planet. This will be conducted in partnership with our IT partners. This includes troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and maintaining system infrastructure. The IT assistant is responsible for ensuring that all technology within the organization is running efficiently and effectively. They may also assist with training employees on new technology and implementing new systems or processes.

Summary

Duties
- Assisting with tasks and projects as directed by supervisor
- Organizing schedules and managing calendars
- Maintaining and updating records and databases
- Coordinating meetings and taking minutes
- Conducting research and preparing reports

**Requirements**:

- Experience with IT systems
- Experience of the WIndows365 environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills

Desirables - Knowledge and experience of web-hosting management
- Knowledge and experience of Wordpress
- Knowledge and Experience of Shopify
- Experience of networking configuration

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £11.54 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
