Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is currently seeking a Band 6 Group Facilitator - Service User Network to join their team based in Reading. This role will be full time, working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5pm for the next 12 months.
- The SUN (Service User Network) is an initiative aimed at offering an effective and readily available community based support network for people either with a diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder or no diagnosis, but presenting with personality difficulties. SUN provides open access peer support groups with no waitlist or discharge dates. Members who join SUN can expect never to be more than 3 days away from their next available group._

**About the Trust**

In this role you will be located in and working across an area with all the benefits of country living with the convenience of big city life.

**What you will be responsible for**
- Provide SUN group facilitation in collaboration with other mental health professionals and eventually expert by experience peer facilitators.
- Support SUN members in groups to manage their ongoing difficulties through attendance at groups and enable them to develop Crisis And Safety Plans to manage risk and safeguarding concerns.
- Attend weekly clinical supervision to ensure adherence to the SUN clinical and delivery model.
- Work flexibly and assist in the on-going development of the SUN service, which is in it’s infancy within the Trust.

The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.

**You will have the following qualification/experience**:

- A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Band 6 Group Facilitator for a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.
- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
- Undertake regular mandatory training*
