Female Personal Assistant/support Worker Ref:

Female Personal Assistant/Support Worker required for man with Autism, a Learning Disability and Mental Health difficulties living in Hamilton area.
You would be required to provide one-to-one care and assistance within their home, and in the community including attending to personal care and participation in social activities. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
- Attending to all personal care needs (showering/shaving)
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Walking and assisting with participation in physical activities
- Household shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
Driver essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid.
Favourite activities are Karaoke and singing also going out for lunch, day trips etc., and socialising.
Sociable, easy-going person required.
Experience in autism support is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**
Recruiting for one position.
Guaranteed permanent position of 16 hours per week
Days and times to be discussed at interview (alternate Saturdays will be required)
Rate of pay: £10.90 per hour
