Nursery Cook

To plan, prepare and cook nutritionally balanced, age appropriate meals for children at the nursery between the ages of 3 months and 5 years.
Liaise with the nursery manager/owner to produce a seasonal menu rotation, reflecting the time of year and availability of fresh produce.
Ensure adequate stocks of all required ingredients are kept; plan, budget and order weekly supplies.
Liaise with nursery staff to cater for all individual dietary requirements on a daily basis.
Ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment is maintained, adhering to relevant Food Hygiene legislation.
Maintain satisfactory records of correct temperatures for foods both in storage and ready to serve.
