**Job role: Corporate Insurance Administrator**
**Location: Hyrid role - London/Luton**
**Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday**
Emeria UK operates in the residential real estate sector through its operating brands of Campions, FirstPort, Innovus and Knight Square.
As the Corporate insurance Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the corporate insurance portfolio. Overseeing administrative tasks, claims management (PI, PL, EL), supporting on insurance renewals, ensuring any acquired businesses are covered under group polices and ensuring the smooth functioning of all corporate insurance related matters.
You will work closely with legal & governance professionals and paralegals, to provide comprehensive support and maintain a high level of service across the business.
Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the legal team’s reputation in the wider business.
**Key Accountabilities**
**Insurance Policy Management**:
- Administer and manage the company's insurance policies, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Review policy terms and conditions to ensure coverage meets the organisation's needs.
- Collaborate with brokers and underwriters as and when needed.
**Claims Handling**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for insurance claims, guiding internal teams through the claims process.
- Work closely with insurers and third-party administrators to expedite claim resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims, settlements, and related communications.
**Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of exposure.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and loss prevention programs.
- Collaborate with department heads to address and minimize identified risks.
- Policy Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to insurance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance matters related to insurance.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and industry trends.
**Insurance Reporting**:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of insurance coverage, claims, and risk management initiatives.
- Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
**Process Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures to enhance department efficiency.
- Develop and maintain standardised templates, forms, and processes to increase productivity.
**Departmental Support**:
- Support the “heads of” as and when required on various duties.
- Identifying activities processes, procedures which will result in general business improvement.
- Ensure awareness and communication is established within the business with regards to key areas of responsibility.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the legal team.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior members of the team on a as and when basis.
- Oversee the preparation, organisation, and management of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with document retention policies and legal regulations.
