You will contribute towards the development and delivery of the Multiply and Move-On Programme at The Emily Davison Centre. Working alongside domestic abuse professionals, you will develop and deliver high quality interventions in numeracy, as part of the government’s newly funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy. You will work to create innovative learning opportunities and help to break down barriers to learning which can stop people achieving.

Domestic Abuse can and often does impact on all areas of a victims/survivor’s life. Over the last three years the Move-On service has successfully supported victims of domestic abuse to recover by developing essential skills, increasing knowledge and teaching behaviours that have led to improved confidence, increased social mobility, and improved economic and social well-being.

**The expectations and outcomes of this role are to**:
Deliver workshops and group recovery programmes at The Emily Davison Centre and within the community

To provide support, assist and deliver to individual learners or small groups.

Help to plan learning activities, resources and to maintain record keeping.

Carry out administrative tasks

Mentor individuals with numeracy upskilling based on need.

Know how to use IT to support your work.

You will provide high-quality, trauma informed support and group work to survivors of domestic violence and abuse within the Emily Davison Centre

You will have a commitment to up-skilling and enabling adults that have been victims of domestic abuse, delivering tailored support and skills development through an individual learning plan which will embed maths skills into many of the activities.
- To provide empowering one to one support to people that are or have experienced domestic abuse who access HARV, EDC or HARV Housing
- Provide on-going support including identifying risks throughout and ensuring the correct course of action is taken to manage those risks
- To undertake an initial skills assessment and develop individual learning plans for every participant
- Identify and secure routes for progression for learners.
- To provide high quality ongoing assessment of need, review progress and record outcomes for learners.
- To work within a multi-agency team, prioritising the safety and well-being of women, adults, children and young people at all times.
- Provide the co-ordination and administration of the WEA Multiply programme.
- To ensure that the delivery of programmes is made on time and fully meet the needs, objectives and outcomes as intended.
- To manage a case load and follow case management policies and procedures.
- To work with learning organisations, employers and job seeking services to identify partnership opportunities for adults.
- To comply with all policies and procedures
- Ensure that monitoring and evaluation data in relation to funding is shared, ensuring all targets and agreed outcomes are met.
- To manage a small project budget.
- To produce interim reports on the project progress for the funders and line managers.
- Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation.
- Where required represent the charity at events relevant to the Multiply project
- Establish links with the local services both voluntary and statutory ensuring that you are fully engaged with local strategic programmes, safeguarding systems, and procedures
- Ensure that national and regional safeguarding policies and procedures, systems and tools are followed.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services operates and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.
- Liaise with statutory services and strategic groups where local pathways, systems and tools need development.

- To help develop and deliver a range of numeracy related workshops and supporting material.
- To engage with the community to promote Multiply opportunities and build course capacity.
- To support participants enrolled on workshops with the aims of busting myths and negative mindsets around numeracy.
- To develop participants numeracy skills around money management (e.g. Budgeting) to address specific needs and/or impacts of increased cost of living.
