Kingspan Insulation are a leading manufacturer of high-performance rigid insulation within the construction industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a **Continuous Improvement Leader. **Working with the Operations Manager to develop and roll out a range of improvement activities, performance management systems and standardising internal practices that will ensure a safe and compliant working environment, improved plant availability and reduced manufacturing costs.

**About the role**:
Responsibilities will involve** **overseeing and leading process improvements activity across the site. This role is critical to the successful roll out of Lean Manufacturing practices in pursuit of Operational Excellence (OpEx). Working with the Operations team at the site to develop a range of programs aimed at reducing manufacturing costs; standardising internal practices and developing performance management systems to ensure the sharing of best practice across the site.

**Key responsibilities of our Continuous Improvement Leader**:

- Ensure that the site is following the standard Kingspan reporting definitions (DIV IMP 900)
- Ensures that there are robust standard systems implemented to deliver clear and accurate data to enable effective priority analysis and decision making
- Supports quality management processes and quality improvement activities
- Co-ordinate the development of the OpEx program whilst collaborating with the site management team to ensure agreement, appropriate participation and support
- Report on site overall lean activities including accomplishments, participation, projected activities and anticipated needs to the site Steering Committee
- Ensure that OpEx activities are planned and designed to support the sites priorities
- Highlight improvement activities blockers
- Use the most accurate measurement analysis and evaluation methods to identify process improvements
- Support and coach project leaders on tools and techniques used to reduce losses
- Facilitate the monthly site Steering Committee Meetings and follow up on the agreed actions
- Develop and install clear visual management systems
- Provide support on training and roadmap development
- Facilitate workshops to focus improvement, transfer knowledge and engage team members in activities to support the lean deployment

**What we're looking for in our Continuous Improvement Leader**:

- Business system acumen
- Lean six sigma green-black belt
- Knowledge of KPI management
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Knowledge of Process Improvement principles and tools
- Effective meeting management and organization skills
- Project management skills including objective setting, resource planning and data collection
- Assessment and analysis skills
- Experience working with various IT programs, e.g. MS word, excel, Outlook ect.
