A unique opportunity has become available to lead our specialist team of adult congenital echocardiographers.

The post will be based in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Echocardiography, however there will be opportunities for continuing professional development in other areas of echocardiography.
- To lead and further develop the ACHD echo service adherent to the principles of good clinical practice. This includes oversight of the daily operations and co-ordination of service provision at outreach centres.
- To mentor team members in their career progression.
- To critically review ACHD echo working practices in the department, keep abreast of new developments in ACHD Echo and to initiate these as required.
- To be responsible for planning and implementation of ACHD Echo training programmes for cardiac physiologists, fellows and junior medical staff.
- To seek and embrace feedback from key stakeholders including patients, team members, echo management and referring teams.
