Bydd gofyn i’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus weithio’n annibynnol ar ei liwt ei hun ac fel rhan o dîm. Byddwch yn gallu cyfathrebu’n glir a dod i berthynas yn gadarnhaol â phob aelod o staff. Oriau agor y coleg yw 7:00am i 8:00pm Dydd Llun i Ddydd Gwener ac mae gofyn i ofalwyr weithio cyfuniad o sifftiau cynnar (7:00 i 3:00) a hwyr (12:00 i 8:00).  O bryd i’w gilydd bydd yna waith ar ddydd Sul ac yn hwyr gyda’r nosweithiau hefyd.

Bydd angen gwybodaeth o Iechyd a diogelwch yn y gwaith arnoch a’r gallu i gydnabod pwysigrwydd sicrhau amgylchedd diogel. Mae trwydded yrru a’r gallu i ddefnyddio Microsoft Office yn hanfodol ar gyfer y rôl hon.

Mae’r gallu i siarad Cymraeg yn ddymunol ar gyfer y swydd hon.

Mae buddion yn cynnwys cynllun pensiwn hael gyda chyfraniad cyflogwr o dros 20%, cynllun lles staff, 28 diwrnod o wyliau blynyddol (ac 8 gŵyl banc ychwanegol), darpariaeth datblygiad staff rhagorol, ffreutur a champfa ar y safle. Parcio rhad ac am ddim ar y safle. Lleoliad gwych.

**Senior Caretaker, Permanent Contract - Cardiff**

St. David’s College is a popular and over-subscribed Sixth Form College, providing high quality education for 16-19 year olds within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. In our 2019 Estyn inspection, we achieved an ‘excellent’ grade in Inspection Area 1: Standards, and in Inspection Area 5: Leadership and Management.

We are looking for an experienced handyman / caretaker who has good general maintenance experience. Ensuring a safe working environment for staff and students.

We are looking for a dependable, self motivated applicants who like to keep busy. St Davids is a supportive and friendly environment and we are keen to welcome new employees who can combine working flexibly, prioritising a busy workload and using initiative. People skills are as essential to this role as practical caretaking skills.

You will require knowledge of Health & Safety at work and ability to recognise the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment. A driving licence is essential for this role as is the ability to use Microsoft Office.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this position.

**The position is full time, fixed term contract, until 31st August 2023. It attracts a salary range of £24,075.86 - £26,397.07 dependant on experience**.
