**Little Angels - Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship**

**The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and flexible individual to join Little Angels Nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 2 Childcare apprenticeship within a small, friendly team in the heart of Hamworthy, Poole.

Little Angels Nursery is a small independent daycare setting where the children are able to make progress through the wide range of activities available. Little Angels Nursery understands the importance of relationships with parents and this is actively encouraged and nurtured in order to encourage their child’s development and support their learning.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- To work effectively as part of a team.
- To ensure the Nursery is a clean and safe environment for the children at all times.
- Communicating with parents and ensuring that the children’s records are accurate and up to date
- Interacting with the children and encourage the children to participate in the activates
- Creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which children can grow and flourish in a fun and stimulating environment
- Assist with setting up different activities for the children
- Changing nappies and preparing snacks

**Hours**:
This position is term time only, working hours will be approximately 30 - 40 hours per week with shifts between 8 am and 3 pm. Hours may be available during school holidays but these would be based at their nursery in Wareham.

**Qualities Required**:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a real passion for childcare, who is willing to get fully involved with the daily running of the nursery, to join our small and friendly team, and to learn from qualified, passionate, and professional staff.

You will also need to be a great team player, confident and outgoing, and must be willing to carry out a variety of tasks. You must also you must be imaginative, creative, and be committed to a career within Childcare.

**Requirements**:
You must be able to gain a clear DBS.

Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent. If you do not have these grades you must be willing to work towards them, as in the event you want to progress onto the level 3, these will be required.
