Job Description - Trainee Activity Instructor - Football, Multi-Sport or Dance

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about sports and coaching to join our team as a Junior Sports Coach. As a Junior Sports Coach, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced coaches and gain valuable experience in coaching different sports to children and young people.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the senior coaches in planning and delivering sports sessions for children and young people during school holidays.
- Help to create a safe and fun environment for young people to participate in sports activities.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment for sports sessions.
- Ensure that all activities are delivered in accordance with the organization's values and safeguarding policies.
- Support the senior coaches in the mentoring and training of volunteers.
- Encourage young people to develop their skills and improve their performance in different sports.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, equality and respect among young people.
- Attend training and development sessions to improve your own skills and knowledge as a sports coach.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required.

**Requirements**:

- A passion for sports and coaching.
- Experience of participating in and/or coaching different sports.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop as a sports coach.
- An interest in working with children and young people.
- Commitment to following the organization's values and safeguarding policies.
