**Your new company**
Our client is a leading wholesale food distributor covering the whole of the UK. Managing the night shift operation you will deliver best in class results via a combination of experience, enthusiasm and determination butmost importantly, through creating and supporting a motivational and engaging leadership culture.
**Your new role**
Success can be achieved through effective recruitment, engagement and development of your team to provide a warehouse operation that delivers the highest levels of operational efficiencies, service excellence and productivity. You will be capable of leading,coaching and developing your team to manage a number of KPI's, including service levels, stock, inventory, productivity and credits as well as people factors such as training and attendance all within the department budget and target. Asset and stock managementis a given in this role, as is the ability to work closely and supportively with other functions within and out with the Edinburgh depot. You will need to be up to date and compliant with all health & safety and food hygiene legislation and have a track recordof managing teams of circa 50 people and a proven history in KPI's achievement.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Flexibility is crucial to achieve success with the ability and willingness to flex shifts and working hours when required. Shifts ranging from 16:00 - 06:00 across 5 days. Having the ability to clearly identify and prioritise workloads is essential ensuringthat all tasks are completed safety and to standard within the required timescales. You will have experience working in a fast paced environment ideally within food distribution.
**What you'll get in return
**An initial salary of £42,000 which will increase to £45,000 after probation. 34 days annual leave, healthcare cash plan, personal accident insurance plus employee discounts.
