**Job Description**:
Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the Accounts Payable ledger postings and payments and monthly payroll

Key Responsibilities:
To provide admin. support to the Accounts Department. Specifically, to:
- Register goods received notes in GRN register.- Match purchase invoices to goods received notes, checking invoice price against purchase price.- Code invoices with relevant cost centre, then post invoices and credit notes- Collate outstanding GRNs for entry to monthly management accounts- Pay suppliers.- Month-end routines.- Monthly payroll run (SSP, SMP, Social, Pension P45s).- Inland Revenue NI/PAYE payments- End of year payroll returns, reconciliation with monthly payments.- Credit card analysis

Qualifications & Experience:
- HNC or equivalent in Business Studies or related discipline (preferred)- Suitable accounting qualification- Previous experience working in an accounting role/function
