**Regional SalesManager Benelux/Nordics**

Responsible for leading the Benelux/Nordics Sales team in order to drive accelerated sales.

Meet and exceed sales growth targets, develop and expand customer base through strategic long lasting relationships.

**Responsibilities**:
Maintain a strong Benelux/Nordics sales team and ensure that the team is properly trained and has the right tools to succeed in their roles.

Managing Key Accounts and 2 Sales Managers

Responsible for the Food Safety Business results in the region

Monitor all relevant food and beverage market segments, competitive offerings and share with the appropriate functions.

Develop and maintain close working relationship with strategic channel partners and key accounts, supporting the sales team with high-level negotiations and high-value commercial deals

Develop and maintain a transparent and cooperative team spirit within direct reports. Construct individual budgets and providing monthly, quarterly, and annual feedback on business results in the region.

Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems and procedures as required. Seeks guidance as necessary.

Skills/Experience:

- Skilled and experienced at customer negotiations
- High level understanding of the market
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to communicate persuasively with others in writing, on the phone and in person.
- Demonstrated ability to connect quickly with others and build solid relationships at all levels
- Sense of urgency to impact results.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to pay close attention to details

**Requirements**:

- Willing to travel (60-70%) within the region and attending EMEA meetings internationally when requested
- May occasionally work evenings and/or weekends.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management or life sciences or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales and/or marketing experience in food & beverage market/testing market
- Must speak Dutch and English to a native level
