Oncology Healthcare Assistant

**About The Role**:
Being an Oncology Healthcare Assistant at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare is more than just a job. You will have direct impact on people’s lives, meeting the evolving needs of our patients. This role allows you take away the stressful journey, car parking and long appointment waiting times within a hospital setting from the patient and their families/carers/friends. Our nurses are the heroes behind the frontline.
As a Healthcare assistant you will play a vital role in supporting staff and patients in our mobile units. Under the direction of qualified nursing staff, you will perform a wide range of duties, including caring for patients, providing information to families, and carrying out basic medical checks like taking temperature, pulse, and respiration rate and blood pressure. You will also support with the phlebotomy services within the healthcare centre.

**About You**:
You will be an experienced Healthcare Asssitant with venepuncture skills who displays a high level of care and empathy that will help our patients regain their independence. You will be well-organised and comfortable managing your own workload. Basic IT skills are also required.
