About the role

As our new Trainee Site Supervisor, you'll join our Access and Rescue division, based from our industry leading safety centre in Eccleshall. As a Trainee, we'll give you all the support and training you need to develop in your career, and you'll be paired with senior members of our team to ensure the delivery of site-based access and related projects for our customers. Initially, you'll work with our Project Managers/ Leads to deliver the projects efficiently with budget/ time and the quality throughout/ on completion of the project whilst ensuring the safety of everyone involved in the project.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and delivering projects that are assigned, and correctly projecting instructions including drawings and set out works in accordance with the directions of the Project Manager/ Leader
- Supervising and directing a site team maintaining the highest standards of safety at all times and promoting a safe working culture by giving regular site toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Writing job progress and completion reports as well as completing daily time sheets in a timely manner, liaising with the client in a confident and professional manner
- Understanding, reviewing and making changes to risk assessments where site conditions dictate this must be done in collaboration with the Project Manager/ Leader
- Communicating and working closely with the office based Project Management team in order to successfully deliver projects to the complete satisfaction of the customer

About you

The ideal Trainee Site Supervisor will have/be:
Essential:

- First Aid At Work and IoSH Working Safely qualifications
- Roof Top Safety & Access; Relevant manufacturers installation training
- A full, valid UK driving license and able to drive motorway distances in a range of commercial vehicles up to 3.5T
- Physically fit and confident at working at height and/ or confined spaces
- Significant experience at Fitters Mate level and demonstrate experience of delivering a wide scope of site based projects

Desirable:

- IRATA Level 1
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CSCS
- Confined space medium risk
- PASMA/ IPAF
