**About us**:

- The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) takes pride in its exceptional team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing quality services to the community. We are a unitary authority in the Royal County of Berkshire providing a range of services through both in-house and commissioned providers. We are set in a major cultural and tourism area with attractions including Windsor Castle, Legoland and Ascot Racecourse.
- RBWM is preparing to embark on a number of exciting and cross-functional projects across all Directorates, that need to be completed at a fast but considered pace. To support this, we are recruiting temporary Project Management Officers to join our Corporate Projects team and contribute to a portfolio of exciting transformational projects.

**Your role will involve**:

- Undertaking a variety of projects, in accordance with agreed project plans, assigning resources and monitoring funding and spend.
- Producing project reports in the established format, at agreed intervals, summarising progress and identifying areas of potential concern.
- Monitoring progress against project plans and agreeing remedial actions, if required.
- Working with stakeholders to resolve issues occurring during the project cycle, escalating where appropriate whilst providing options and recommendations.
- Conducting post-implementation reviews of projects, if required, to identify areas for improvement.

**What we are looking for**:

- Motivated individuals skilled in facilitating the delivery of varied projects on time, to budget and to the required quality across all Directorates.

**What we offer**:
**These are fixed term roles,** lasting for one year, and offer a salary of £36,434 - £40,401 per annum.
- The council operates a flexible system in relation to remote working arrangements however for this post there is an expectation of working in the office at least two days a week, and according to the needs of the business.
