Foam Cutting Machinist

**NSP Cases are looking for a skilled Foam Cutter to join our team**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Cutting square and rectangular foam pads to size
- Shaping of foam using bandknife & other machinery.
- Work within guidelines / instructions.
- Ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping and organisation is maintained.
- Working to deadlines to complete orders on time.

**Ideal Experience**:

- Experience of foam cutting machinery & operating a band-saw for foam cutting.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
- To be capable of lifting & moving large foam sheets.
- Must be able work independently while collaborating in a team environment
- Required to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Applicant must have a good work ethic, a high attention to detail and keep their work area tidy and organised.

Working hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm
- Additional hours may be available Saturday AM._

**Salary**:
The advertised starting salary is £24k, we will assess your skill level and will provide support and training to allow you to progress your abilities within the team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
