**ABOUT AIRX JET SUPPORT**

AirX Jet Support Limited is a UK registered EASA Part-145 MRO maintaining the fleet of our parent company AirX. We are well versed in the maintenance requirement for aircraft owners and operators. Our approach to all maintenance tasks is underpinned by engineering experience. We aim to ensure that aircraft are returned to service on schedule and the work is finished to the highest standard. AXJS supplies maintenance and related services to AirX and third-party operator aircraft based out of Diamond Hangar at Stansted Airport.

**ROLE**

**Reports to: Hangar Superintendents**

**Location: Diamond Hangar, Stansted**

**Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off shift work 7am - 7pm**

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Removes grease, dirt, paint, and corrosion from aircraft surface, using abrasives, solvents, and brushes.
- Must be able to perform masking and taping of components and aircraft.
- Prepares exterior surface of aircraft for painting.
- Paints aircraft interior, exterior and piece parts to engineering and customer specifications.
- Applies aircraft finishes and external markings to sections.
- Ensures the use of appropriate manual references and proper tools in performing paint duties.
- Ensures that labour and materials used in assigned area of responsibility are charged to the correct job and work order number.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

You will:

- Extensive experience as a line and base maintenance paint technician.
- Completed training as a painter or comparable qualification.
- Flexibility, conscientiousness, and a proactive approach to work different shift pattern.
- Compliance with the requirements of the Air Safety Act for a reliable inspection.
- Professional experience as a painter, preferably in the aviation industry.

**Salary**: From £40,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
