We are recruiting for enthusiastic & reliable **Exam Invigilator** staff to support with examinations at high schools & PRUs in the Tameside area from now until July 2023.

There are a variety of morning (9am-12noon), afternoon (12pm-3:30pm) & full day shifts (9am-3:30pm) available. Pay up to £11.50/hr.

No experience is necessary to be an Exam Invigilator but applicants must have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills and be willing to attend our Exam Invigilator training prior to working.

**NB.** You will need a DBS on the Update Service & 2 ex-employment references among other documents.

**The Role**
- Exam invigilation and exam assistance.
- Supervise students throughout exam, walking throughout where required.
- Support students entering and exiting exam area.
- Help deal with any queries or situations arising.
- Data entry and examination administration
- Preventing possible administrative failures
- Ensuring the security of the examination before, during and after the examination preventing possible student malpractice.
- Helping to maintain a safe and orderly environment for students and staff.
- Ensuring all students have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.

To join us and be successful in this Tameside based Exam Invigilator role, you will need to:

- Have good communication skills and good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS certificate that is on the Update Service.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if you have lived abroad in the last 5 years for more than 6 months).
- 2 professional references.
- Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
