IT and Library Services (ILS) provide the resources, services and security across the university in order to facilitate these aims. Our libraries and IT support teams play a vital role in offering state-of-the-art facilities and services for our students, staff and visitors.

We are looking for several committed, enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join the Library & IT Support Assistant (LITSA) team, working across the Greenwich Library Services and IT Digital Service Delivery departments, to contribute towards providing outstanding user experience and customer services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Offering technical and user support for, and assistance with, library
- and IT-related queries in-person, over the phone and remotely as per our service requirements, providing a high-level of customer service at all times.
- Ensuring physical library stock is managed sufficiently so users can find items easily and for the library reservation system to function properly. This involves organising, collecting, processing and shelving materials.
- Helping users navigate our e-resources, other online materials, the library catalogue and self-service.
- Facilitate scanning requests from students and staff.
- Supporting technical equipment including Windows PCs, Apple iMacs, smartphones, printers, plotters, laptop loaning service and library self-service.
- Assisting with a range of IT systems and software packages including Microsoft 365, account administration, wireless networking, University Portal, Moodle and Turnitin.
- Carrying out checks on equipment and study environments within our libraries, computer laboratories and teaching spaces.
- Recording, troubleshooting, escalating and resolving queries, incidents and problems using our call logging software and other tools as they are introduced.
- Ensuring users adhere to the relevant codes of conduct and helping to maintain our high-quality study environments, reporting issues as they arise.

**This is a zero-hour contract up to 20 hours per week**, which requires flexibility to work across the week, including evenings and weekends, as part of a rota.**

**You must be prepared to travel to all university campuses for work and/or training as required.**

**The team may provide remote support from home as well as on-site.**
