We have created a supportive, productive, and relaxed environment for our team, a space where we support and motivate each other. At any one time, you will have up to twenty operational sites and we work with some of the UK’s most established developers. Therefore, the ability to communicate and build relationships with people at all levels, from the operatives to senior site representatives of our clients,’ is a fundamental requirement of this role

You will be working alongside two senior health and safety consultants and will report into our Managing Director. You will also be required to work closely with our Operations Director on all business matters.

A broad knowledge of construction is essential as our clients work within this industry, although we have a growing mix of clients in a variety of industries coming on board.

Our clients are in the south of England; Hampshire, Dorset and London, although occasionally there might be a need to travel further afield.

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:

- At least 2 years recent and relevant experience in similar role.
- Scheduling and making regular site visits to conduct safety inspections.
- Compiling safety reports for clients for distribution by the administration team.
- Consulting with Contract Managers and making recommendations on safe working practices.
- Attending regular MSA meetings and providing updates, feedback and suggestions to the team.
- To develop risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Conducting and recording incident investigations.
- Developing effective client H&S policies and attending annual review meetings.
- Promoting our training services to clients recommending appropriate courses and offering advice and guidance where necessary.
- Training operatives on a regular basis and conducting took box talks
- Delivering CITB and general health and safety courses in our training rooms in Totton. (Desirable)
- Delivering CITB and general health and safety courses at client venues. (Desirable)
- Updating training presentations when required.
- Promoting our safety values internally and externally
