Site Caretaker

£11 p/h - 25 hours per week - Mon - Fri 8am - 1pm
Joseph Ash Galvanizing are currently looking for a site caretaker to work on a 25 hour contract at our Bilston site.
This role will be working Monday to Friday 8am - 1pm totalling 5 hours per day and 25 hours in a week.
This role is essential to keeping the site clean and tidy and will include some mínimal maintenance work such as painting.
Experience with some general maintenance tasks, as well as cleaning in a warehouse environment are essential.

Your day to day:
- To patrol the site ensuring housekeeping is kept to the highest standards. This includes ensuring any safety related equipment and signage is clean and in working condition.
- To paint or repaint any areas identified.
- To carry out basic repairs or at least assist the maintenance department in conducting repairs or replacement.
- If required, to assist with the preparation of incoming work to ensure it is safely processed, this could be either by drilling or paint removal etc.
- Please note: The toilets and canteens will be maintained by our external contractors and not form part of this role with the business.
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- A can do attitude
- Ability to work alone and under own initiative
