We are delighted to offer this rare opportunity to join our Children and Young People's Integrated Therapies service as a Team Lead. This post is based in Stevenage. We are looking to appoint a team lead on a part time basis. If you are a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech & Language Therapist who is passionate about building teams, providing innovative and evidenced based services, and are keen to develop your leadership skills this could be the next step in your career.

We have 2 team leads to cover the Stevenange and North Hertfordshire locality which includes Royston, Hitchin and Letchworth. You will work alongside other team lead colleagues across CYP Therapies and be supported by Operational leads. You will have access to HCT's leadership development opportunities.

The post holder would have the opportunity to use and develop their leadership skills to support a high functioning specialist team. They would have day to day operational responsibility for a quality service delivery as well as the opportunity to take on service development projects.

Interviews will be held at Howard Court, Welwyn Garden City on 20th June

**The post-holder will**:

- Be responsible for the day to day management of the team, and provide support to a team of therapists and assistant practitioners ensuring an effective and high functioning team.
- Ensure the policies and procedures of HCT are implemented and adhered to at all times and that team members are familiar with them.
- Ensure that staff perform effectively and safely, taking appropriate action and escalating as necessary.
- Contribute actively to the promotion of CYP Therapies as a profession.
- Participate in the recruitment and retention of staff.
- Work alongside operational colleagues to ensure adequate management cover at all times
- Lead on the continuous professional development of the workforce, supporting the Operational Lead with the development of services, performance capability, governance initiatives and the development of policy and practice.
- Demonstrate positive and effective communication with others
- Be flexible in their approach and have resilience under pressure
