Surveyor - Double Glazing

**Hours**:8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday - paid lunch breaks

**Job Summary**

Responsible for carrying out technical surveys at customer sites, providing accurate window and door specifications that enable a timely and successful installation to take place, always aiming to do it right first time.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Providing accurate measurements and installation instructions

Attend pre-arranged site surveys and confirm window and door specification details.

Confirm any additional requirements to the original quotation.

Health & Safety and access issues, review and advise.

Document safe working practice by assessing site conditions and highlighting any conditions that may impact the installation.

Project management, ensuring the customer is always kept informed.

Take photographs of the site and all products to be installed highlighting any potential problems.

Pro-actively support the sales and installation functions of the business.

Maintain a safe working environment within the working area ensuring all current Health and Safety is observed.

General housekeeping

Perform any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Surveying department and company.

**Required Skills**:
3 Years surveyor experience with double glazing/windows/doors or UPVC

Technical knowledge relating to construction and glazing

Good communication skills.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Must be able to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach.

Full UK Driving Licence

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
