Mirror / Picture Framer

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced picture/mirror framer or a practical person with transferable skills that is used to handling wood, joining wood and cutting skills.

We are looking for one full time person, who can be passionate about creating a stunning product and who is ready to brighten up the walls across the UK.

**You'll need**:

- Concentration and a methodical approach
- Practical and hands on.
- Maths Aptitude
- Underpinning Skills
- Experienced in working with saws

**We want somebody**:
As a Mirror/Picture framer, duties will include the following:

- Operate machinery to create picture and mirror frames including Double Headed Mitre Saw, Cross cutter, Table/Panel and Wall Saws.
- Be able to hand/spray paint frames
- Be able to turn bespoke ideas into reality.
- Use a variety of tools to create the different components of mirror or frame
- Quality control and package products carefully
- Use CNC and Laser Cutting Equipment
- Liaise with clients regarding their specifications
- Canvas stretching
- Installing Mirrors and Picture
- IT Skills
- Mount Cutting
- Manual Glass and Mirror Cutting by hand.
- Unloading, data input and general stock taking.

In addition to this any ad-hoc duties as requested by your immediate manager.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Confident in using software to programme machinery or has the ability to learn new software easily.
- Eager to learn new skills
- A positive attitude towards work
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Use initiative to problem solve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
