We have a variety of stalls to offer large scale events all across the country including corner shops, build up supermarkets, camping goods stalls and cigarette & vape units.

With over 50 events currently on our calendar for summer 2024 we are looking for individuals who might be interested in joining our team

We would like to find outgoing individuals who would like to spend their summer gaining experience in the UKs event industry by traveling the country and attending some of the UKs biggest music festivals whilst being paid to do so

All training will be provided on site and during induction days early 2024.

Job Description: Festival Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Festival Assistants. As a Festival Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our festival shops, providing exceptional customer service to festival attendees. Your responsibilities will include restocking shelves, handling financial transactions, and participating in the Build and Break of festival units. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Festival Shop Assistance:

- Assist customers in the festival shops by offering product information, answering inquiries, and providing recommendations.
- Efficiently and accurately handle financial transactions, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payment systems.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the festival shops, including arranging merchandise displays and restocking shelves as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly inform the shop manager when items need to be replenished.

2. Customer Service:

- Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for festival attendees, making them feel comfortable and valued.
- Address any customer concerns, complaints, or requests in a professional and timely manner, seeking assistance from the shop manager when necessary.
- Communicate information about festival events, schedules, and any changes to attendees as required.

3. Build and Break:

- Assist in the build and break of festival units and stalls, including assembling and disassembling booths, tables, signage, and decorations.
- Follow safety guidelines and best practices to ensure a secure and efficient working environment during the build and break of festival units.

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
- Proven customer service experience, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina - the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks as required during Build and Break.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as the festival schedule requires.
- Knowledge of festival events, products, and services is preferred but not mandatory.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44-£12.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 41 per week
