Head of Leasing

We are searching for a Head of Leasing to support our UK & Ireland team.
The Head of Leasing assume accountability for the team managing both Acquisitions and Asset Management across Subway signed leases and Franchisee signed leases in UK & Ireland. They will work closely with the Director of Development & Leasing and the Head of NBD to develop the strategy which will help us marry Franchisees with appropriate Subway locations that they will source, building a strong pipeline.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Understand our portfolio sufficiently and maintain a good knowledge of the property market based on research and relationships. Utilize our in-house market mapping software and let all these assets help you build and maintain the strategy to source and acquire new sites.
- Manage a team of Leasing specialists ensuring they have clear objectives to deliver our new store opening targets. Analyze data and make presentations summarizing progress and sit on the Real Estate Committee and review / approve new sites, relocations and closures submitted as well as provide inputs on compliance issues which impact Leasing.
- You will hire and performance manage a portfolio of local & regional consultants / agents to source opportunities; aid renegotiations & surrenders including from a legal perspective; complete leasing activities including service charge reviews and dilapidation surveys etc.
- Take a holistic view on end-to-end real estate lifecycle with a passion to understand dependencies between the various disciplines and finding creative ways to unlock bottlenecks.
**Skills & Abilities required**:
- Previous experience managing a team and motivating external parties using an excellent network of UK contacts across the wider property environment.
- A proven track record in Leasing spanning across asset management and acquisitions / development maintaining an extensive portfolio preferably in Hospitality or Retail
- Confident negotiator, good communicator, and dynamic personality with self-motivated attitude to work.
- Strategic and good commercial awareness.
**Additional requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or related field preferred.
- Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) preferred.
- 10+ year experience with 6+ years of supervisory experience
- Technical Proficiencies: Software (Microsoft Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
