Please see below job description for the QS:

- To manage costs and report on project expenditure
- To produce client valuations monthly for payment
- To produce internal valuations for cross checking with directors on profits and losses
- To liaise with commercial director on land viabilities to procure new project
- To help assistant quantity surveyor with their tasks and assure guidance where required

Role Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the housing sector.
- Knowledge and/or experience of contract strategy e.g. adapting / developing standard forms of contract to meet client requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Negotiation skills - with subcontractors and others
- Construction Knowledge - materials, trade working knowledge and construction costs
- Quantity Surveying & Construction Management degree or equivalent.
