**Job Title: Learning Support Assistant**

**Job Type: Full time, long term**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)**

**Location: Barnet, North London**

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our growing team at Saracens High School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding our young learners in achieving their aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support the learning and development of students.
- Provide individual and group support to students with additional learning needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that is conducive to students' growth and development.
- Promote the wellbeing of students by providing pastoral support and encouraging positive behaviour.
- Attend and participate in training, staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working with young people, preferably within an educational setting.
- Passionate about working with young people and supporting their development.
- A knowledge of the local area or similar area is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A desire to pursue a career in education, with an interest in special educational needs and disabilities.
