**Contract**:Full time (37.5 hours per week)

**Salary**:Negotiable dependant on experience

This entry level role would suit someone who has content writing experience and an eagerness to join our highly regarded team, or someone who has a relevant degree and is looking to start their marketing career.

**The important work you will be doing**:

- Researching industry-related topics and identify client needs and gaps to suggest ideas for content, whilst maintaining our content plan
- Liaising with the wider team and other stakeholders to create content including blog posts, publications, press releases, advertising materials, web pages and awards submissions
- Writing clear marketing copy to promote our services and position PKF Smith Cooper as industry experts
- Proofread and edit documents
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, imagery and tone)
- Support the wider marketing team
- Visit our other offices (namely Derby and Birmingham) and attend events when necessary
- Translating technical information into commercial writing that is easily understandable

**The skills and experience you will bring**:

- A 2:1 or above in English, Journalism or Marketing degree or content writing/marketing experience
- Naturally creativity with the ability to bring new ideas and enhance existing ones
- Confident writing skills for both marketing and editorial copy
- Acute attention to detail
- A willingness to learn, and will be keen to collaborate and build strong relationships with the marketing and wider teams at PKF Smith Cooper
- A high level of initiative and the confidence to ask for support when required
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise work to tight deadlines
- A goal oriented mindset whilst continually thinking outside the box
- Excellent communication
- Experience using Google Analytics or other reporting tools is desirable
- Understanding of, and experience implementing, SEO best practices is advantageous
