Duties of include:
- Attending to customers, special requests and complaints.
- Ensure fulfilment of customer orders and special requirements.
- Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations.
- Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends.
- Implementing strict age and identity verification checks.
- To exercise a tight control on all beverage stocks and ensure bar is appropriately
stocked.
- Stock take, order supplies, and implement measures to prevent wastage.
- To organise and supervise beverage related functions, at all times liaising with the
organisers/guests to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- To work closely with colleagues the junior staff members to ensure success of the
operation.
- Managing the bar at the venue.
- Training, supervision and development of the bar staff.
- Driving sales and achieving targets within set budgets.
- Hands on, floor-based role.
Experience requirement:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience required in a similar role and/or in a similar
establishment. On the job training available.
Other appropriate vocational qualifications considered.
Skills requirement:
- Outgoing friendly and professional
- Ability to relate with customers and make them feel comfortable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple requests at the
same time
- Ability to work in a stressful, loud or intimidating environment
- Practical bartending skills, such as using cocktail shakers or beer taps
- Creative skills to mix new drinks or suggest new pairings

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
