**THE POSITION**

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and proactive Finance Assistant to join our Finance team

You would be responsible for various BI payments reviews, processing and administration with a high focus on compliance, timeliness and cross department working and collaboration.

**TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain HCO/HCP tracking at all times to ensure accurate & timely reporting to the Legal & Compliance teams.
- Ensure all payment request documents are correctly completed and authorised with appropriate check list included prior to processing. Queries are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Provide support to the Legal & Compliance team on any finance relevant parts of HCP/HCO payment processes.
- Responsible for setting up new vendors via the standard Global Business Service Centre (GBSC) processes
- Responsible for all local pre-scanning and scanning activities for incoming financial documents received in the Bracknell office to ensure prompt payment and processing can be facilitated in the shared service centre. Contacting suppliers to request electronic formats for future invoices.
- Support the maintenance of the company corporate charge card schemes where a local contact is needed.
- Supports Accounts Payable or Vendor queries and ledger reviews within the ROPU UK or working with colleagues in GBSC shared service centre(s).
- Ensure alignment with local Sourcing team on process consistency across Purchasing and Financial Suppliers.
- Provide administration support and cover within the FACT team.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience of working in a business financial environment (eg payables/expenses/accounting)
- Experience of managing varying payment processing workflows and workloads
- Strong demonstration of written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Customer Focused
- Ability to work well under own initiative
