**Summary of responsibilities**:

- To provide high-quality learning support for students in our KC Sixth provision. Working with the KC Sixth team to promote our high-grade strategy to the learners and encourage students to reach their potential.
- To support the department without tutorial and study support programme
- Work cooperatively with study services staff and faculty to continuously develop and improve support for learners.
- Monitor attendance in collaboration with A-Level tutors to maintain the attendance for the students and department.
- To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision, supported by direction from teaching staff and in line with college policies.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- To support the overall student experience through engaging with external stakeholders and A-Level staff.

Teaching qualification
Full range of GCSEs, including English, Maths, Science and Humanities/Social Science
Vocational qualification relevant to the specific faculty

Experience of working with 16+ year old learners
Experience of A level study or working with A-Level learners
Experience of supporting and challenging learners in order to enable them to meet targets
Experience of provision of one-to-one and group support/delivery
