Kitchen Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking following our Cooks insructions
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Daily laundry for nursery school
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

As a Kitchen Assistant, your role is to support our Cook with food preparation,ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Your role will also include continuous cleaning and monitoring of kitchen cleanliness, and managing daily laundry that nursery generates.

Hours of work are all year round, Monday to Friday, approximately 11am to 5pm, but can be altertered slightly to suit the right applicant.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
