**Salary**: £25,000 to £29,000

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:45pm

Start: March, Permanent with a 12 week Probation through our agency

Are you passionate about education and committed to supporting students to reach their full potential? We are currently working in partnership with a SEMH Secondary Provision across 2 centres in Manchester to hire a HLTA. We are looking for someone who will be able to deliver one to one and small group interventions in areas like reading, speech and language and emotional literacy to name a few.

**About the School**:
The school has small class sizes and caters for pupils with emotional barriers to learning with social, emotional and mental health needs. The students follow a holistic curriculum and each student’s learning journey is adapted round their physical and emotional needs. The School has great facilities for vocational studies.

**The role**:
The successful HLTA for this SEMH setting must practice a therapeutic approach to enable pupils to develop their social skills alongside their academic skills. The school are seeking an individual that is compassionate, hardworking, organised, and knowledgeable with strong experience and understanding about SEMH and the secondary curriculum. You will need to feel comfortable directing staff and be ready to step up and teach. As a HLTA in this setting, you must be creative and be able to teach English and Maths and support with interventions.

**Requirements and Key responsibilities**:

- Experience with children with anxiety and trauma and building nurturing and meaningful relationships with pupils with SEMH needs
- Preparing and delivering lessons that are engaging
