This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to join our small but busy Hydrant Maintenance Team to deliver an inspection programme and maintain critical firefighting equipment for operational fire crews.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people at all levels. You will need to have good communication skills and able to prioritise workloads to meet timeframes set by theorganisation. You will evaluate the quality and effectiveness of critical firefighting equipment and ensure safe and best practices throughout. The Hydrant Maintenance Technician would need have excellent written and a wide range of computer skills, whichare essential to the role.

You will automatically be enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS); this is a tax-approved, defined benefit occupational pension scheme. Your contributions are based on your earnings, and you can choose from different income options whenyou retire.
