Handcrafter / Packer

An Excellent opportunity for an Experienced Handcrafter/Packer to join a well-established company based in Hemel Hempstead

Established for nearly 250 years with products in over 50 Countries, they create a wide range of high-quality brushes using sustainable materials.

Our client has a vacancy for someone who is competent and takes great pride in their work. You must have an eye for detail, have excellent communications skills, be able to work efficiently in a busy environment as part of a team or alone. You will have a high level of initiative and motivation with the ability to seek out solutions to problems.

About the Role:

- Packing and inspection of goods produced within the factory.
- Hand making brushes using traditional techniques such as hand drawing.
- Glue and basic assembly of brushes.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workshop including maintenance of tools jigs and

fixtures etc.
- Work within defined customer quality requirements.
- Stock control of consumables packaging materials etc including the booking of

stock on a computer system.
- Packing and inspection of goods produced within the factory.

- Able to work under low supervision with a good awareness of the health safety

requirements.
- IT Literate.
- Experience in Needlework i.e crochet or working with a hook.
- Fine motor skills.

Additional Information:
In house training will be given

Hours: 39 hrs per week 7.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday 7.30 - 12.30 Friday
