Logistics Co-ordinator

We are working with our client who are a leading logistics company based in Cramlington in the search for a Logistics Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight across the globe and controlling the fast-paced world of freight management.

**Responsibilities**
- Processing road, air and sea shipments for customers and clients
- Completing bookings with shipping lines, agents and hauliers
- Prepare correct documentation to haulage/distribution/shipping department for loading and offloading
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Ensuring that orders are tracked properly, customers are notified of updates and shipments arrive on time
- Maintaining records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines
- Work in a fast-paced environment and develop strong relationships with customers

**Person Specification**
- Ideally have experience in air, ocean and road freight
- Driven, organised and composed
- Good attention to detail
- Solid understanding of transport and worldwide logistics
