- Sector- Education / university- Contract Type- Permanent- Hours- Full TimeWe are an established, cross-regional multi-academy Trust with 21 academies: primary, secondary, FE and special. With a new CEO in place, we are a Trust that has achieved improvements in our academies over recent times but we are still in transition. Our overarching aim is clear - to transform learning for all of our students. Sitting still is not in our nature. We are ambitious for our young people and we believe there is much to build on, not least their talent, energy and potential.

Alongside the CEO and Deputy CEO (Education), you will work closely with the Board and the executive team on developing a long-term financial strategy that is fit for purpose and sustainable. You will also lead an operational service that is even more cost effective and efficient, whilst being clear on its role in supporting further success within our academies.

You will be a qualified accountant, with a track record of success in finance and operational leadership. Alongside a sound knowledge of accounting standards, governance and risk, you will also have a commercial focus and an understanding of the complexities of leading a diverse and distributed organisation. This is a highly visible role requiring strategic vision, exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.

You will believe in the power and moral purpose of education and will share our ethos, values and ambitions for our communities and specifically our young people, so that they can achieve their full potential. They deserve no less.
