Applications are invited from enthusiastic, innovative, motivated and suitably qualified individuals for the post of a full time, Band 4 Quality Assurance Information Systems Administrator within Quality Assurance Safety Team in Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.

The post holder will support the Senior Datix Officer to manage and maintain the Health Boards concerns management system including data entry, analysis of the concerns and risk information, design and production of reports for Senior Managers and Health Board wide groups and committees.

The role requires close working with the Senior Datix Officer to maintain the smooth operation of the concerns management system (currently RLDatix) across the Health Board. Provide ongoing support and advice for all users. Establish and provide data quality checks within the existing system; where necessary make adjustments to the data with concerns management system to ensure that it meets the quality requirements including GDPR compliance. Undertake data extracts for local and national requirements. Analyse the information and provide thematic reports as per department timescales and plans. Support the Senior Datix Officer and Datix Facilitator with the implementation of a robust audit programme. Support the Senior Datix Officer in the management of alerts and safety notices and any other national guidance. Maintain the integrity and security of the concerns management system log of users, access, permissions and removing access for leavers.

Support the Senior Datix Officer in the facilitation of ease of reporting incidents and provide support in running the help desk. Responsible of updating and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Safety Teams intranet
and SharePoint pages Service Management. Full training will be provided. There is an expectation to travel to the other hospital sites as directed by the Senior Datix Officer and expected to travel within a timely manner to meet expectations of the service delivery plan.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. We do this in partnership with our three local authorities and public, private and third sector colleagues, including our volunteers, through:
**Four main hospitals**: Bronglais General in Aberystwyth, Glangwili General in Carmarthen, Prince Philip in Llanelli and Withybush General in Haverfordwest;
**Seven community hospitals**: Amman Valley and Llandovery in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron, Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire Hospital Health and Social Care Resource Centre in Pembrokeshire;
48 general practices (four of which are managed practices), 47 dental practices (including three orthodontic), 99 community pharmacies, 44 general ophthalmic practices (43 providing Eye Health Examination Wales and 34 low vision services) and 17 domiciliary only providers and 11 health centres;
Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services
